  • Will I be notified when Launy Care Team picks up my laundry?
    Yes, once we receive your order, we will send you a text message to confirm the pickup time. Additionally, you will receive a text message when the driver is en route to your location to pick up your laundry.
  • What type of detergent can I choose from?
    While we cannot guarantee a specific brand, you can select the general type of detergent you would like. These include: Scented: This is our default detergent offering, which provides the traditional scented laundry smell. Hypoallergenic: We have several customers who choose hypoallergenic detergent, specifically families with young children, or individuals with sensitive skin. Baby detergent, bleach, dark protect, fabric softener, scent booster.
  • Will my clothes be washed with other people's clothes?
    No way! We never wash or dry your items with anyone else’s.
  • Does Launy Care Team read label instructions?
    Yes, at Launy Care Team, we carefully read and follow all label instructions to ensure the best care for your laundry.
  • Do you separate lights & darks?
    Yes, we do separate lights and darks. You can specify your preferences in the scheduling form when creating your pickup order.
  • How do I give you special instructions?
    Customers can provide special instructions by filling out the designated field on the scheduling form.
  • Do I need to be home for the pickup and delivery of my laundry?
    No, you do not need to be home. Simply leave your laundry in a clearly visible location, such as your front door or porch, and we will take care of the rest. We will send you a text message when our driver is on the way to pick up your laundry, and another message once it has been picked up.
  • Where should my order be picked up or delivered?
    Your pick up/drop off location should be a safe and secure location where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this is different for everyone, customers often leave their orders at their front door, on their porch, or inside a secure, gated area. Please note that our drivers are not able to enter any privately owned spaces or residences, so they are not able to enter your home, apartment, car, garage, etc.
  • What happens if I miss my scheduled pickup day?
    If you miss your scheduled pickup day, a $15 missed pickup fee will be applied to your account. Please note that we send three reminder notifications via SMS before the scheduled pickup time to help ensure you don't forget about your pickup appointment.
  • Can I receive a delivery if I’m not home?
    Yes, you can receive a delivery even if you're not home. During checkout, you can add specific instructions for our team to leave your laundry in a designated drop-off area.
  • Is Same-Day Delivery Available?
    Yes, we offer same-day delivery for orders placed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Orders placed after 2 p.m will be delivered on the following day.
  • Is there a minimum order size for Wash & Fold?
    Yes, there is a minimum order fee of $38.50 for our Wash & Fold service.
  • Preauthorization Policy
    For first-time customers, a $30 preauthorization is placed on your credit/debit card. This step ensures security and helps prevent fraud or the use of unauthorized cards. This preauthorization confirms that funds are available and puts a temporary hold on them. You are not charged this amount. Once your laundry is completed—washed, dried, folded, packed, and weighed—the actual cost of the service is charged, and the hold is released. If you cancel the order, the preauthorization hold is also released. While Launy Care Team releases the hold immediately, the timeline for funds to return to your account depends on your bank or card issuer. If this preauthorization is an issue, we recommend using a credit card rather than a debit card, as credit cards hold the amount from your credit line without directly charging or refunding you.
